We are pleased to announce that the Letter of Authority Protection Fulfilment v1.0 Draft A Standard has been published. This Standard development has to date delivered XML schema and associated documentation. JSON schema/OpenAPI specifications will be delivered following industry review of these initial deliverables.
This Standard joins Letter of Authority Investment Fulfilment, Letter of Authority DC Pension Fulfilment, Letter of Authority Wrap Fulfilment, and a Standards development for Letter of Authority Request and Response is currently underway, which once delivered will provide a comprehensive suite of Standards supporting Letter of Authority processes.
We have collaborated with a wide range of providers, advisers and software suppliers to define a repeatable, standardised approach to Letter of Authority processes that can be implemented to deliver a reliable, easy-to-navigate experience that increases consistency; reduces time, effort and costs; and – critically – supports delivery of better outcomes for customers.
