Since launching the first draft of the LoA Data Checklist, which was developed in response to a need voiced at the Fix LoA Action Group (FLAG), we’ve seen a clear signal from the industry: this is something people want to improve.

We’ve had an encouraging response to the Data Checklist so far with a broad mix of stakeholders engaged. We've started to receive early feedback that highlights how priorities differ across stakeholder groups – which reflects the complexity and broad reach of the LoA process.

But we know there’s more to hear. The upcoming feedback session is a key opportunity to share deeper insights, validate emerging themes, and ensure the Checklist reflects the needs of everyone it’s designed to support.

Nick Green, Strategy and Proposition Director:

The LoA process touches multiple parts of the advice and data ecosystem, each with its own priorities and pain points. This is where our role as a standards body comes into play. Our aim isn’t just to capture feedback, but to connect the dots – turning a range of perspectives into a clear, consistent, and usable tool that improves how LoA responses are managed across the board.

Be Part of the Next Step

To continue the conversation, we’re hosting a feedback session on 1 May 2025 at 10:00 AM. In the session, we’ll:

  • Share the key themes emerging from stakeholder feedback.
  • Explore how those themes are influencing the Checklist’s evolution and future development of Checklist for other products.
  • Invite open discussion to refine the direction of travel.
  • Discuss the role of the Checklist in enabling better, faster, and more consistent LoA responses.

Whether you’ve already contributed or are just joining the conversation, we want your voice in the room. If you would like to attend, you can register here.

If you haven’t downloaded the LoA Data Checklist yet, you can do so by registering on our website here.
