The Letter of Authority process allows advisers to request comprehensive information on their clients' policies from Product Providers in order that they can give good advice to their client. This initial set of standards cover the fulfilment of an LoA Request by the Product Provider for DC Pensions – work is well underway to extend the Standards to fulfilment of Investments and Protection products and then on to the LoA Request process and other product groups.
