Managing Director (Interim) Workplace Savings and Retirement at Aviva
Matthew, an Information and Computing graduate from Loughborough University, is accountable for the Aviva Workplace Savings business. He joined Aviva on their graduate Fastrack programme in 1997 and has developed strong relationships across the market and a deep understanding in proposition, products distribution, regulations.
For several years, Matthew has been accountable for proposition strategy which has successfully seen the business double in size in 5 years to £82bn AUA and a market leading position. He has been accountable for the delivery of large-scale change programmes to meet this strategy, working with teams from across the business to delivery. His prior roles include 10 years within Aviva’s IT functions, which allow him to bridge the gap between IT and the business. Previous roles have included: Corporate propositions development manager, Business and IT programme manager, E-Commerce Programme, Programme Manager – Corporate Pensions and IT project manager.
Matthew joined Criterion as a Non-Executive Director in September 2021.
